1993! Let's get cozy and travel back to this little house get-together (as we called it). Before smartphones and social media, we interacted without looking down and scrolling. What did people do when they were bored? We couldn't play games on the iPhone, scroll on tiktok or instagram, and couldn't get an Uber to go home. This was a time of simplicity and authenticity. The music was loud and th...

Middle School - 1992 | Hidden Camera
Переглядів 9 тис.Рік тому
The simpler days! In this never-opened-before video, we take you back to my middle school in 1992. This was shot one year after Nirvana released Smells Like Teen Spirit. This was during a time where cassette tapes and VHS tapes were standard. This is back when the mall was the center of the universe. This was back when heavy metal was starting to go out of style for a little while. Presenting t...
Netflix CRUSHED Your Video Store
Переглядів 16 тис.Рік тому
Blockbuster was once the king of video rental. Throughout the 1980s and 90s, you would spend a half hour in a Blockbuster store looking for a video to rent for the evening. It was valued at $3 Billion. After turning down a chance to buy Netflix, Blockbuster has vanished with the exception of one remaining store. What happened?
Last Day of High School 1996

Class of 96 last day of high school. Filmed for our reunion Ridgefield Memorial High School
Class of '96 here. Great video but they're all chilling for the video camera which was a rarity for some random kid to have back then. Off the camera and in everyday normal life, HS kids back then were pricks. Columbine happened for a reason in the 90's, it's because that generation was mean AF and it finally pushed someone over the edge to do the unthinkable (at the time, it was).
16:44 he was real slick with that move!
I was 16 when this was recorded (in England we leave school at 16) makes me feel nostalgic 😢 by my recollection about this time, Ross and Rachel were “ON A BREAK!”
I graduated in 96. This looks so familiar.
Just the fact that everyone is nicer, calmer, happier, comfortable around each other, it sure looks like the greatest time ever.
Everything was better in the past. And I wasnt even born in 1996...
Then you wouldn’t know if everything was better in the past lol. It’s weird to see people romanticize an era you missed because you watch UA-cam videos of the past.
Dude, it wasn't that long ago. You act like it's the 1950's or something.
It's incredible... The guy just simply walking around with his camera and bringing attention to the peeps around. No one have any toxic thoughts with his behaviour and everybody seems to be cool with him. Imagine nowadays when you are holding a smartphone and you would like to review your teacher or a classmate. When I did that in college about 10 years ago I was marked as a Creep.
Last generation that was raised "American" and I'm gen z.
wheres the reunion vid?
Class of 96 = Kobe Bryant was drafted that June. So those students were born in 77 or 78.
I graduated in 96 and my school was nothing like this. No one got along lol
Mine ended in 1993
... home come all this looks so damn old now?
the art teacher was pretty I would like to see her now
I don't understand y u don't stay consistent with ur channel
6:56 you're welcome
I was born in 96 but seeing a video of the year of my birth hits different
3:05 she pulled a cell phone off her purse 😂
These young girls reflect the time when Amy Grant's music was played everywhere . Great video. Thanks for uploading.
Man I miss these times so much.

This was the beginning of the end. This is Social Media's origins. Fuck this guy.
4:16 is Christina single? Im asking for a friend
Life is so sad now 😢
Damn I miss those days
A society without smartphones and social media. A much better time.
Mr Dalessi, 7th grade math. He couldn't keep control at all like this teacher lol it was a free for all. 1999
Notice how everybody was wh✊🏻te Good times long gone
I saw a few Asians 😏
@@mercedezzwe don't mind them they're cool 😂
@@PIFFthePUFF420 I guess they brought yall anime so I get it
Like Fast Times at Ridgemont High
life was better when life wasn't in our pockets
Every 10 years for your reunion you said, Have you had it twice?
I graduated HS in '96 also. Man, what memories.
People like wow what a time to be alive. Looks boring, and just so you know i was born this year. I don't use social media, and I can carry a conversation and look people in the eyes. A few years from now kids will look at videos of high-school kids watching the latest fad reminiscing the good times.
The fashion is so pre 9/11
I miss the 90's....painfully so. EDIT: How in the hell did we end up here today?
I always thought American movies were a complete distortion of the reality of school, but this video is proof that there really was such an era. But you don't really see any troublemakers, everyone is happy. Maybe because it's the last day 😄
This is before American culture got raped
People interacting with each other instead with a phone. It feels this video is 1000 years old, it’s incredible how society changed in just few decades.
intro song?
Don't believe this video! This video was likely made by A.I. because a real video would show how horrible these people and their lives were. You are so lucky to live in 2024/the age of enlightenment! (btw I'm trans)
3M views... this was a huge high school
I’m very fortunate to have been a 90’s kid.
Yeah, I wish I could be a 90's adult though too... I just want to live in a semi normal world, and the western world is like a bad parody now.
13:55 brutal assault 😄
So random lmfao
see? no illegal migrants, no subhuman foreigners or monsters or anything like that to disturb the peace
Is that Dylan Klebold at 04:43 ??
The 90s was the best time to be a live I’m so glad to be a 92 baby man life was so great and cheap back than
From a non-american perspective, this is what we all think what american high schools are like. That’s 100% 🇺🇸 in the 90’s Must have been a blessing growing up in this place in time.
What state was this in?
I was so busy inventing my machines that i didnt realize when HS ended and when college started and ended and what happened
